As the organization’s Marketing and Communications Manager, Marco is charged with elevating the Thread Capital Brand and raising its public profile to increase the amount of capital, coaching and connections available to small businesses throughout the state who have faced barriers accessing resources.
Marco joins Thread Capital after spending the last 15 years working in sports, mainly soccer and lacrosse, but has had an extensive career in music, food and beverage, public affairs and non-profits, all in various marketing and communications roles. Most recently he was the director of communications at North Carolina Football Club where he oversaw messaging for two professional soccer teams as well as the launch of the new Downtown South development in Raleigh.
A native of Milan, Italy, Marco is an avid supporter of the arts in all its forms and when not brainstorming marketing campaigns or travelling around the world visiting family, he can be found at a local concert, art show, play, or discovering new locally owned restaurants.
