Jesse Harris joined the Thread Capital team in 2022. In her role as a Loan Associate, she works with clients in all stages of the lending process as they seek to further their small business dreams. Jesse’s passion for collaborative working and learning leads her to strongly value the Thread team’s emphasis on coaching and connections in addition to capital opportunities.

Prior to working with Thread, Jesse has five years of experience in the credit union and investment finance spaces. However, her other previous work has included dance performance, writing/editing, and small business management. Jesse holds dual bachelor’s degrees in English and Management from UNC Greensboro, plus a graduate certificate in Conflict Transformation from Eastern Mennonite University. She is also currently pursuing an MBA at UNC Wilmington.
A native North Carolinian with roots in Hoke and Guilford counties, Jesse considers herself a superfan of our state and its environmental and human diversity. Her hobbies include poetry, yoga, hiking, and traveling on the recommendation of UNC-TV’s North Carolina Weekend show. She lives in Harnett county with her husband, a medical student planning to work in rural medicine, and two cats.
