Courtney serves as an AmeriCorps VISTA member with the coaching and connections program at Thread Capital. She loves connecting with her community and helping entrepreneurs find resources to help their businesses succeed. She finds her passion in collaborative community work.

Before joining as a VISTA, Courtney served as a membership coordinator in nonprofit organizational leadership, where she streamlined communication and process improvements for professional membership across two regions. She holds a bachelor degree in business administration, which has allowed her to own and operate her own small business.

Outside of her professional life, she cherishes quality time with her son, traveling all over the Caribbean, shopping for accessories, and attending music concerts.
