We connect
small business
to opportunity

At Thread Capital, we believe everyone in North Carolina who has a viable idea for a business that they want to start or grow, should have the resources they need to thrive.

Along with our statewide network of lending partners, Thread Capital offers financing customized to the needs of you and your business, with loans from $500 to $5 million.

We’ll give you feedback on your business plan, plus provide information about things like the importance of your credit history and the effect it can have on your business.

We know how hard it can be starting, sustaining, and growing your own small business. That’s why we help connect you with resources and networks that exist in your community.

Why Thread Capital

Small-business ownership is not for the faint of heart. Your willingness to take risks and start a small business, deserves to be supported. Now more than ever, North Carolina needs to help its existing small businesses and emerging entrepreneurs wherever you are located, whether it’s a big city, a small town, or a rural crossroads. After all, it has been shown that it will be you, the risk-taking entrepreneur pursuing your own dreams, who will create the bulk of new jobs in our state. Our economy cannot grow without you.

Thread Capital is your first step in joining a more robust, inclusive ecosystem of entrepreneurship in North Carolina, one that gives you an opportunity to achieve your small business dreams.

I am very pleased and impressed with the care that we received from Thread Capital throughout the lending process. The fact that it is a non-profit dedicated to promoting local business communities is very much aligned with the values of Blunt Pretzels, and we hope to continue the partnership for our future financing needs as we grow.
